A photographic essay of the Ozark Heritage Arts Center ''Spring Fling,'' held in Leslie, Arkansas, on Saturday, April 1, 2000. (This page is graphics intense and may take some time to load. Please be patient. It's worth the wait!)
The day began with a sidewalk art contest...
Guest exhibitors displayed handcrafted items, like this miniature covered wagon....
...and these finely turned wooden bowls:
Artisans were on hand to demonstrate how their wares were crafted.
Crafting booths offered the chance to learn ''hands-on.''
Children were ''decorated'' with designs of their choice...
...won prizes in the Cakewalk game....
...and were entertained with storytime:
Inside the Arts Center, folk dancers exhibited their skill...
And a youth band called ''Blossom'' played beautiful tunes.
The day was a bouquet of sunshine and wonderment....
...and great time was enjoyed by all!
