Ozark Autumn
An Arkansas Pictorial
By Daniel & Christine Weiss

September, October and November are pastoral times in Arkansas. Cattle munch lazily on the last green grasses of the season.

Autumnal Holiday regalia festoons the countryside. [NOTE: Daniel suggests that an appropriate name for the photo, below, could be "Flying witch misses outhouse door."]

Beautiful old barns build integrity with pioneering character.

Kittens pose with fallen leaves, happy to be snuggled, bundled and stroked.

Trees of gold stand ready at the roadside, regal with illustrious fanfare.

Sunbeams catch railings, rainbowing streamers; rivers run easy and slow.

Everywhere, is there visual and sensory wonder.

And throughout it all, peace abounds.

That you may be filled with strength and power, rooted and grounded in love that surpasses all knowledge: Be kind to one another; live with compassion, producing every kind of goodness; stand firm and hold your ground in truth, righteousness and peace; be courageous; embrace faith which is perfect trust in justice. ~Ephesians 3-6 (condensed)
