Dear & Gentle Reader: It is with a type of sadomasochistic
pleasure/pain that we retire the former gozarks in all its glory, noting
for the record that as it existed up until September 1, 2008, gozarks.com was one
of the most longstanding ‘owner operated’ portals to community information
that existed on the Internet, having debuted April 19, 2000.
New SWAT in town...
Redundantly dubbed (by other webcrafting
professionals) as ‘queen of content’, gozarks was among the first
‘blogs’ long before the descriptive term – a contraction of ‘web log’
– came into popular use.
And it is the plan now to carry on this fine tradition of leadership
by introducing the ‘new & improved’ gozarks… which we hope and expect
will continue to serve the well-being of our shared Ozark Mountains
community for time to come… |
