G'morning (whenever your morning may be)!!!
How is your holiday-scape looking? Is this a season of joy for you?
Sincerely, I hope every day of our shared future is fabulous.
Anyway, I just wanted to touch in with a warm hello and friendly thanks.
Your appreciation for my little ezine is heartwarming, and when we get
right down to the bottom line, that’s really what it’s all about, right?
As I write, I’m listening to “Fiddler on the Roof” and thinking how the
plot of this story seems to have been replaying all over the world,
throughout recorded time, with no respect to gender, race, religion,
creed, political allegiance, or scientific ideology. The same bittersweet,
poignant and all too often brutal tale of slavery, indignity and
inhumanity.
“To Life!” is playing right now. “God would like us to be joyful, even
when our hearts lie panting on the floor… How much more can we be joyful
when there’s really something to be joyful for?!?!?!?!”
Words that pluck my heartstrings.
“Be happy, be healthy, long life!!! Heaven bless you! May we live together
in peace!”
My exact sentiment, now and always, for you and yours. Honest. In
perpetuity. Because this, like manna from the heavens, is what each of us
deserves. Which reminds me of something I read the other day:
“The time of the lone wolf
is over. Gather yourselves' together. Banish the word Struggle from
your attitude and vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred
manner and in Celebration!” (From a statement give to ChoQosh Auh-Ho-Oh by
the Iroquois Elder "Uncle John,"
www.wovoca.com)
Words that are music to my ears. So, what are we gonna do about it, huh?
I mean really…
Well… let’s prepare the canopy for a celebration. Let’s simply convene
peace. Let’s just stop doing anything to anyone else that we wouldn’t want
done to ourselves. I’m up for it. And I’m certain that you are, too.
Little ripples. Big waves. Happiness and good will abounding.
The CD plays on: “May you be favored with the future of your choice! May
you live to see a thousand reasons to rejoice!”
I’m in, 1000%. And, sincerely, I know you’re in too.
:-)
Christine
