The colors we're flying on these pages are purposefully NOT " Red, White, & Blue." Nor will you find any other willfully placed icon of any secular allegiance anywhere in this special "Liberty, Justice & Democracy" section of Gozarks: Everything Ozarks!

This should NOT be taken, however, as an indicator of opposition to any particular form or institution of government. Moreover, as the editor of this section I am duty bound to acknowledge my personal prejudices, and I'll be up front to affirm that if this site were to wave my flag, it would be that of the good 'ol USA... land of my birth and heart of my home.

However, the purpose of this site is to support and endorse  the supposition that, essentially, "we are all one" -- with the operative word of that sentiment being "all."

Thus I have, to the best of my ever growing capability, "put aside" my puritanical compulsions about Nationalism, preferring to engender a more inclusive, outreaching and "co-owner of the planet" savoir faire. With that said, I am equally duty bound to note my complete lack of International wherewithal on this subject and, as those who peruse this section will soon learn, whilst there are bits and pieces from elsewhere 'round the globe, the pages herein are presently strewn with links to the thinkings and doings of men and women who are concretely associated with the U.S. of A.

Yet since I find their ideas insightful, their opinions honorable, and their activism laudable, for the sake of the work at hand I've chosen to not hold their residency against them, and I hope that you, dear reader, will refrain from holding any of this against me. Because if it could be said that this site is about anything (and it is, but that thing like any thing is caught up in the flux of perpetual evolution thus being eternally subject to change), it is about convening a "board of directors meeting" among "we the people" in the interest of understanding, defining, empowering and exercising those Creator endowed unalienable Rights affirmed by the unanimous Declaration of Independence of the Thirteen Colonies In CONGRESS, July 4, 1776, being inclusive of (but not restricted to) Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, laying our foundation on such principles and prudently organizing our powers in such form, as to us shall seem most likely to secure our mutual Safety and individually unique yet collectively satisfying Happiness... forevermore.
