We've come a long way from the little log cabin Legion Hut where we
started. That building, built in the early 1930s, served as our
Library's home from 1949 to
1967. Then we moved to the old Clinton Bank Building on downtown square,
and stayed there until the damaging flood of 1982. After the flood, our
present building on Shake Rag Road was erected. Our building has been
expanded once since then.
